Toothless Wonder

My little man lost his first tooth.  He got a whole $2 and all I ever got was a lousy $ .25.  This milestone has been bitter sweet, it is hard to imagine that he will be 6 in less than 2 weeks.

Roman Shades

The roman shades are finished an hung.  I am so happy with the way they turned out.  I added the smokey blue border on a whim and think it made a good result.  Next i would like to find a new light fixture, something shnazzy:)

Chop Suey

You gotta love it when you have the Elders over for dinners, and they cook for you!! Elder Mose is from Samoa and was so happy to fix us a family dish. CHOP SUEY! Yum! He even wore Paige's polka-dot apron that my sis made for Paige for Christmas. Elder Mose gave me a list of items to get from the grocery store. It was a hunt to find the "chop suey" noodles that he requested. I looked on the internet and went to 4 grocery store. I couldn't find them anywhere, thats because the aren't called chop suey noodles, they are rice noodles. Anyway it was a lot of fun.

Elder Dass is from Malaysia and he entertained us with some piaano while Elder Mose cooked. You guys are awesome:)

Spruce up my walls

I am so tierd of looking at this red wall. I had red in my old house and in this home, I just have felt the red bringing me down. So I decided I needed something more bright and cheerful. Hence I choose this beautiful smokey blue. This little alcove eating area has become so much brighter. I will post the finished product as soon as I finish some classic roman shades. Who knows how long that will take me...

Yes it is FINALLY done. I had this quilt quilted before Turkey Day, yep it has taken me this long. It was really fun to create and I love the way the colors look together, hence the name "SPRING FLING". I am so original. Moving on to new and fabulous things.
